On January 12th, 2016, a witness in Groningen, Netherlands captured this video of mysterious ball of light flying overhead. The witness explains they walking to their car with their girlfriend with they both spotted the strange orb. The object would reportedly change speeds constantly “from fast to slow to fast”. The witness doesn’t believe the object was an airplane, nor a satellite.
Many are not convinced this object was an extraterrestrial aircraft. Instead, some speculate it was a drone, with others say it may have been the ISS. Personally, I believe this was simply a drone as both the object’s behavior and appearance bear a striking resemblance to many commercial-grade drones.
With that said, I’m still very much interested in hear your thoughts on this video. Do you think it shows an object of otherworldly origin? Or is there a more conventional explanation?
